While vintage car owners are storing their darlings in their warm garages, organizers of South Bohemia one-hundredth rallye are revealing their plans for the 2021 motorsport season. The calendar of events represented by the organizing team of Rallye Český Krumlov will be again a bit more colourful.

ČK motorsport, in cooperation with ÚAMK South Bohemia Rally Club, did not sit back and began to be active in the preparation of the first event in the new season immediately after the September event was over. The 2nd Spring Classic will take place Saturday, April 17, and its centre will be located at a 4-star Hotel Concertino in the historic heart of Jindřichův Hradec. After this year’s route headed to the Šumava National Park, this time participants will enjoy the beauty of so called Czech Canada.

Like last year, South Bohemia Trophy will gather crews that will take part in both the South Bohemian one-hudredth rallyes. Regarding the limited number of entries available for the spring event, it is highly advisable to register early. The registration may have automatic validity as an entry for the other event of the regional series – 12th South Bohemia Classic. It will be again Hotel Resort Relax**** in Dolní Vltavice that will offer a presentable background for the event held on September 10-11.

Next year, the South Bohemians will also take part in organizing another classic one-hundredth rallye. The premiere year of Moravian Wallachia Classic will be held in the summer, June 25-26, in Wallachia region and its main organizer is INUA agency.

Thanks to the creation of the Moravian event, a brand new series of one-hundredth rallyes will be formed under the name of Classic Challenge 2021. Those who will want to be successful in the overall ranking should take part in all the three rallyes. Conditions will be comparable because timekeeping and results processing will be managed by Bohemia Timing group throughout the whole season. Rules and points allocation system will be published during November.

Adventure trips and Concours d’Elegance at the same time

This year ČK motorsport laid the foundation stone not only to Spring Classic but also to other motorsport events that they want to keep building. Just before the start of South Bohemia Classic,  2nd Bohemia Classic will be held September 7-9, 2021. Although this long distance regularity rallye does not lack sport performance, stopwatch is not that important here.

“After a successful club debut when the results were overwhelmed by top culinary experiences, high-quality hotels, visits to castles and meeting with aristocrats František Kinský or Jiří Lobkowicz, we wish to invite anybody who does not compete just for prizes, who wants to enjoy almost a whole week behind the wheel of his classic car, together with a bunch of nice people,“ says Pavel Kacerovský on behalf of organizers. “Besides that, we are seriously working with the idea of organizing another similar event in an attractive foreign location. In the meantime, let yourself be surprised, we will inform you in time,“ he adds, smiling.

Also the new tradition will continue, Concours d’Elegance Hluboká classic cars show. This year, the square in Hluboká nad Vltavou has been filled with more than 30 exhibits on the eve of the September event. Lovers of automobile history shouldn’t forget to note the date of September 9, 2021, in their diaries.
